My philosophy is not to copy the models and measurements of famous luthiers from the Cremonese school, but to realise my ideas and my knowledge of cello making in my own models, shapes and measurements. Only in this way a cello can become a truly unique instrument and not just a visual ‘replica’, because the sound cannot be copied and will always be unique.
